Derrick is an all-in-one media production shop with a wide variety of creative skills.

He’s been lucky enough to work as a videographer, video editor, broadcaster, photographer, writer, director, performer, radio deejay, cartoonist, graphic designer, public relations specialist, marketer, and social media manager. 

Right now, he’s on the hunt for creative work that’s challenging, ambitious, and unique. Let me know when you’re ready!

Originally from LaGrange, Indiana, Derrick loved his high school’s TV studio and theatre program. He later completed a B.S. in Theatre Production at Ball State University. 

After college, Derrick joined the U.S. Army and served five years as a Public Affairs Broadcaster while also earning a Masters of Humanities degree. He worked in the United States, Kuwait, South Korea, and Japan before ending his service and moving to Portland, OR. 

While in Portland, Derrick earned an art degree from Portland State University and worked as a marketer for Oregon Ballet Theatre. He worked for several years with a Video Editing app developer in Seatle before moving back to LaGrange. 

Derrick now works for Flint & Walling as a marketing coordinator. he loves most things creative, both on the job and off. He enjoys consuming and making videos, comics, games, and art.
